CLEVELAND — Heidi Hale Mehring, age 64, of Colebrook, Ohio, died Friday evening, Nov. 21, 2008, at the Cleveland Clinic.

She was born April 13, 1944, to the late Jack and Harriet (Scott) Mehring.

Heidi, a lifelong resident of northeast Ohio, was a licensed physical therapist in Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania; as well as being a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Heidi was last employed with NovaCare Rehabilitation of Middlefield.

Before her current position, Heidi thoroughly enjoyed providing years of home health care services to hundreds of patients in Geauga, Ashtabula and Trumbull Counties. She also loved reading the “Highlights” Magazine and spending time with her dearest friends.

Heidi is survived by brothers, Jeff Mehring of Schoolcraft, Mich., and Bill Mehring of Cleveland Heights; aunt, Mary Mehring of Mentor; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Horizons Christian Assembly Church, 14920 White Road (on the corner of Route 87 and White Road), Middlefield, Ohio. The Rev. Jim Stanley, of the Orwell United Methodist Church, will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it is recommended that donations in Heidi’s memory be sent to the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Institutional Relations and Development, P.O. Box 74947, Cleveland, Ohio 44194-4947 or to American Rescue, 8919 Penniman Road, North Bloomfield, Ohio 44450.
