She was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Austin Rex, to whom she was married for 44 years.

She is survived by her sisters Jean Woodruff Diebold, Linda Woodruff Royce and Carol Woodruff. She was the proud and beloved mother of Chrystyna Jean Jeter and husband Michael, David Austin Rex Jr. and wife Shari, and Alan Bartlett Rex and wife Megan. She was the devoted grandmother to Madison Rush Rex, Abigail Elizabeth Vivian Rex, Emma McKinney Rex, Alexander Michael Rex, Mae Isabella McConley and Isaac Joseph McConley. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mary was a world traveler and spent 21 years in the military with her husband. She loved God; she loved life; she loved her family; she loved her friends; and she loved her dogs. She was loved and treasured by everyone who knew her. She has worked at the J.R. Woodruff Company for the last 28 years and has been a co-owner of that company since 2005. She was a member of Holy Covenant Church in Katy, Texas.
