FROM DORIS CHAPMAN (WINEGUEST) TO MARTHA SCHMIDT (LOGUE)
Marty: I was saddened to hear about your death. I remember you and I being best friends. I remember when I used to sleep late and you would come into my room and sit in the comfortable chair and wait patiently, smoking, while I slept away the morning.
We went to college together: the first year in two different dorms, the second year the same dorm. I remember us sitting up all night studying for the Bowling final.
You always made me laugh. I loved you very much and miss you, although I hadn't seen you in years. I recently lost my husband and so I know how Bill must have felt when you passed. You had diabetes as a young girl but never made a big deal of it.
I am sighing now, thinking of you, dear Marty. Love Always,
Doris Teresa Wineguest (Chapman)
